**Background**

Stratton HR was established in 2002 to provide HR consulting and Resourcing services to small and medium size companies across multiple sectors. We are looking to recruit a talented and resourceful individual who is looking for a career in HR, having recentlygraduated or held a HR role within a business, to support the core consulting team in delivering our projects and services to clients.

The HR & Resourcing Assistant must be driven and determined, super organised and have a genuine interest in the full HR lifecycle. This role will provide you with real-life exposure to HR across a multitude of areas so if you are self-motivated, serviceoriented with a 'can do’ attitude and a desire to learn and develop then this is the role for you

We encourage a mixture of office working (Bicester) and working from home.

**Key responsibilities of the HR Assistant include**:

- Be responsible for all administration surrounding HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including contracts and offer letters
- Support the HR team in day to day HR queries, including basic policy questions.
- Support the team in delivering diverse HR projects which would include performance management frameworks, restructuring exercises, HR infrastructure set up, reward programmes, and a range of resourcing initiatives.
- Manage the monthly payroll process on behalf of clients.
- Maintain and update client databases, time reporting systems and a variety of work trackers to monitor progress against targets and manage our billing processes.
- Conduct exit interviews on behalf of clients and report and analyse feedback and trends.
- Produce a variety of HR Reports for clients including; sickness records, headcount reports and monthly activity summaries.
- Provide on and off site support to the client as and when necessary.
- Conduct market relevant research on behalf of clients in order to add value.
- Ensure all correspondence and documentation produced is accurate and in accordance with approved templates.

**Key Criteria & Skills**
- At least 1 years’ experience in a HR role OR a business/HR/psychology degree with some relevant work experience if possible gained through a placement or work experience
- Articulate and intelligent, strong communication skills and the ability to establish credibility quickly.
- Genuine drive and enthusiasm, ability to work with mínimal supervision. Self-motivated.
- A good process manager; organised and structured with the ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Competent IT skills - ability to produce high quality PowerPoint presentations and to get to grips with a variety of systems and databases.
- Strong analytical skills and good commercial acumen.
- An eye for detail and passionate about delivering a high quality service.
- Able to work in a confidential manner and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Strong research skills and ability to 'think outside the box.’
- Must have your own transport and happy to travel on an ad-hoc basis when required

**Package**

Up to £23k dependent on experience. Benefits including 25 days holiday, auto enrolment pension, Medicash health plan, performance related bonus and where applicable possible CIPD sponsorship.
