**The role.**:
Join our HR team in this newly created position and be part of an exciting opportunity to shape the future of our employee experience In this role, you'll offer human-centric advice and guidance and play an important part in enhancing our technology, developing our practices, and sharing expert knowledge across the business. This role is a part time position, working up to 30 hours per week in our office located in Bicester.

**How you will contribute.**
***:

- Be responsible for HR operations by providing advice and guidance to managers and employees, identifying areas of improvement aligned to our culture and values.
- Review and update policies and processes in harmony with the Valda Energy culture, Employment Law and best practice.
- Act as a coach and a point of escalation for the HR assistant, whilst supporting their professional development.
- Continuously review team efficiencies by ensuring that the technology available within the team including our HRIS (Hibob) is being best utilised.
- Manage employee relations cases, providing guidance on various on complex queries and procedures to managers and employees, whilst minimising risk to the business.
- Lead employee relations training with managers across the business to up-skill capability and create manager guides to supplement learning.
- Ensure compliance is adhered to by carrying out regular audits and overseeing operations processes.
- Collaborate with our finance department to manage our monthly payroll processes.
- Actively advocating employee engagement by being involved with the creation of different programmes, events, and activities.
- Assist with recruitment by offering overflow support to the Talent Acquisition Partner when needed.
- Review and advise on compensation and benefits, aligning with external peer market data for fairness and competitiveness.
- Play a key role in implementing HR projects.

**What we are looking for.**:

- CIPD Level 5 or 7 Qualified
- Strong experience working in HR and handling complex ER cases.
- Good understanding of payroll process and legislation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong drive to problem-solve
- Right to work in the UK
