**About the role**:
Horsham District Council are looking for a Community Services Officer (Cost of Living) to join the Community Services team to coordinate multiple strands of cost of living support and interventions available locally for residents. The Council has secured significant financial support to help residents manage the current cost of living pressures; this includes financial support through our Revenues & Benefits and Housing services but also additional money advice services through Horsham Citizens Advice Service.

In addition, the Council has invested in software to enable it to identify targeted proactive interventions to support residents. You will be responsible for assessing data sets and recommending the campaigns of tailored support.

As Community Services Officer (Cost of Living) you will work in partnership with a number of key organisations including local charities, Citizens Advice, Age UK and voluntary sector organisations to improve outcomes for local residents. You will assist in tasking additional staffing resources and report on the impact of the proactive campaigns.

To succeed as Community Services Officer (Cost of Living) you will have good analytical and problem-solving skills, and a track record of working in partnership with multiple stakeholders to achieve shared goals. You will have experience in dealing with people from a wide range of backgrounds, a high standard of written English and a competent IT user. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as on own your initiative.
