The Accommodation space & strategy lead role will be responsible for the accommodation strategy for RRSL business, to deliver outcomes and benefits related to office accommodation and the workplace. They will lead any interfaces, liaison and decision making with the Executive and senior leadership team, in the interest of delivering accommodation solutions.

You will be accountable for the line management of the Accommodation Management Lead role, supporting and endorsement of any decisions or be a route for escalation on a day-to-day basis. You will report to the Site Integration Manager.

What you will be doing:
With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:

- Create, review, and update the RRSL accommodation strategy/vision, which includes the Exec charter
- Endorsement of sentenced business demands with respect to accommodation changes and moves
- Influence, manage and communicate with senior stakeholders to agree strategies and priorities around accommodation demands
- Sponsor office accommodation standards & specifications for RRSL, including approving any derogations from corporate standards
- Escalation for decision making around office, meeting room, and storage solutions to meet business demands
- Sponsor any accommodation related investment schemes
- Establish long term accommodation business demands as we move into the Futures contract period, working closely with business management to understand manpower forecasts
- Work closely with the Infrastructure estate development and projects team to agree a Long-term accommodation capacity profile, and the required office capacity to meet this.
- Manage accommodation business risks and identify treatment and continuity plan options.
- Lead, coach and motivate the accommodation team, including setting up, developing, and evaluating team performance where appropriate.
- Accountable for the creation of a RRSL accommodation change integrated master schedule

- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex information with individuals at all levels within the organisation/project team/supply chain.
- Comfortable with dealing with ambiguity and complex environments.
- Exposure to non-core project management roles such as purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc would be an advantage.
- Qualified to at least degree level or equivalent industry experience
- Has experience in all stages of a project lifecycle and has been responsible for the delivery of one or more of those stages.
- Exposure to non-core project management roles such as purchasing, commercial, engineering management etc.
- Experience of setting up and managing multi-functional teams
- Member of a professional body - Desirable
