Following the acquisitions of the Watson Petroleum and Linton Fuels businesses in 2013/14, World Fuel Services has become a major player in the UK land fuels market. To support our plans to grow further in this market we are currently seeking strong finance professionals.

POSITION LOCATION: Staines

The role holder will assume responsibility for overseeing the recording of the Land business’ day-to-day lifting’s from our national supply locations and depots.

This position requires a highly numerate and analytical individual who is eager to join a leading Fortune 100 brand and provide strategic insights and information to senior managers.

Specific responsibilities include but aren’t limited to:

- Record company liftings on a daily basis.
- Work with suppliers to reduce left on board and stockouts
- Capture and monitor third party supplier prices and advise the sales team
- Issue and create internal and external price lists
- Assist with Inventory Management
- Manage stock levels in wet depots and exrack facilities
- Liaise with management and representatives to assist with price support.
- Reconcile supplier reports and purchases
- Working closely with third party haulage providers
- Ensure all processes are being completed in line with Audit and Compliance.
- Ad-hoc tasks

PERSON SPECIFICATION (BACKGROUND AND SKILLS):

- Office experience and use of excel is essential
- Strong numerical and advance excel skills are essential.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise effectively is essential.
- Strong team working skills are important
- Experience of analyzing commodity and financial markets and providing key insights to management is desirable but not essential
