Pertemps Bond is seeking an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our team on a fixed-term contract. This role will cover maternity leave for 18 months and is based in Burton Upon Trent. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock levels, preparing daily loading lists, and recording raw material purchase prices. They will also create purchase order requests, update supplier catalogue prices, and enter goods receipts into the system. Additionally, they will manage monthly physical stock takes, reconcile volumes with the system, and investigate variances. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will also have good knowledge of Excel and be able to communicate with non-financial staff members to resolve issues and queries.

Main Responsibilities:

* Produce stock from process sheets, varying levels of work-in-progress through to finished goods.
* Prepare daily loading list for goods being dispatched to customers.
* Record and monitor raw material purchase prices.
* Create purchase order requests from various staff members.
* Update and maintain supplier catalogue prices.
* Enter goods receipts into system.
* Manage monthly physical stock take and reconcile volumes with the system investigating variances.
* Enter/update bill of materials in the system.
* Create new products in the system.
* Ensure correct barcoding of products/create new barcodes.

Requirements:

* Organised
* Methodical
* Good with excel
* Hands on – going down to warehouse/production to speak to production supervisors
* Link between production and accounting.
