Adecco Recruitment are currently recruiting for on behalf of our client, an Accounts Payable Administrator to work for a global organisation that holds beautiful, modern offices in Lancaster.

Type: Office based, Full time, Permananent

**Salary**: £22K

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm

**Purpose**:
The Accounts Payable Administrator is responsible for administering the company's overall accounts payable workload under the direction of the Accounts Payable Manager.
- To prepare, quality check, process and post property partner invoices, credit notes and statements in line with the agreed purchase ledger business processes.
- To ensure that all internal or external property partner invoice and statement issues are resolved in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- To be pro-active in recognising potential property partner issues and bringing them to the timely attention of the Accounts Payable Manager.
- To prepare and post commission invoices alongside the relevant payment remittance advice notes.
- To prepare a weekly property partner online banking payment run for authorisation.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- A degree with a Finance focus, e.g: Accounting & Finance, Economics, Maths, Finance & Business or working towards AAT
- A sound knowledge of payment types & processes (preferable, not essential)
- Has relevant experience of Sage 200 accounts (preferable, not essential)

**Skills**:

- Has excellent verbal and written English
- Has good numeracy skills and advanced Excel knowledge
- Has problem-solving skills and an analytical approach to business
- Has a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure
