**About Our Client**:
The business is a prominent figure in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, boasting a sizeable team based in Lancaster. With a commitment to providing exceptional service, they have an established presence in the market and are known for their high standards and commitment to excellence.

You will be responsible for:

- Manage invoices, ensuring all are authorised and paid within set timeframes
- Maintain the supplier database and respond to vendor queries
- Conduct regular reconciliation of supplier statements
- Process employee expenses and reimbursements
- Assist with month-end closing
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations
- Prepare reports detailing accounts payable status
- Collaborate with the broader Accounting & Finance team on projects and audits

**The Successful Applicant**:
A successful 'Accounts Payable Clerk' should have:

- A solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- High school diploma or equivalent
