A leading outsourced provider, with offices based in Lancaster, require a Payroll Administrator to join their Contractor Payroll team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will work as part of a large team, processing payroll for 250 employees per week across umbrella, ltd and PAYE payroll services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring contractors are paid on time every week
- Timely and accurate input of starter and leaver information
- Accurately inputting timesheet information and querying discrepencies
- Checking, verifying and inputting contractor expenses
- Loading data into the payroll system
- Processing of tax data
- Setting up pensions for contractors
- Resolve queries from contractors relating to pay

**Requirements**:

- Payroll Administration/Contractor Payroll knowledge is beneficial but not necessary
- Experience with high-volume input of data from an accounts environment, such as purchase ledger or billing
- High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good systems knowledge, including Excel
