We are looking for an Administrator to join Continuing Healthcare & Placements in the North Locality.

This is a key role within a strong and supportive team and is an exciting opportunity for an individual to play a key part in successfully delivering important services.

Hours of work are 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 9-5.

We commission healthcare services for a population of nearly 546,000 people in Hampshire. The health services we buy are provided by hospitals in Southampton, Bournemouth, Salisbury, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Poole, Andover and Winchester, as well as within our local community. This includes rehabilitation care, emergency care, mental health and learning disability services and care for non-life threatening illnesses and injuries. In addition, we buy primary care services which are provided by our 49 GP surgeries. We also work closely with our partners in health and care services to deliver joint priorities to transform outcomes, improve satisfaction of patients and communities, and deliver financial sustainability.

The duties and responsibilities that you will be expected to undertake may include:
Producing high quality and complex correspondence - copy typing, letter and report writing.

Checking and maintaining written and electronic records, databases and filing systems.

Although no specific experience is required, it is essential that you are educated to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification (or experience level), together with excellent communication skills. You should be self-motivated, highly organised, flexible and have a can-do attitude.
