**Administrative Coordinator**

**25 hours per week;**

**Grade 5 Scale 7**

**5-year contract**

It is an exciting time for all of the schools in the FY8 postcode area. A local charitable organisation, The Lytham Schools Foundation Trust, are providing generous funding to support schools in their endeavour to support children and families, in a coordinated approach.

The Administrative Coordinator will work directly for The Coastal Collective CIO to coordinate specialist providers such as Speech and Language Therapists, Family Workers, Educational Psychologists, Behavioural specialists and Mental Health Workers who will also be employed by The Coastal Collective. In addition, they will coordinate funding for schools to further access support by securing service level agreements with existing agencies.

**Accountabilities/Responsibilities - appropriate for this post**:

- Contribute to the development of a community strategy and impact plan for the schools.
- Monitor spend within the collective budget.
- To maintain and develop relationships with professionals and voluntary organisations involved in the provision of services and activities for children, families and the wider community.
- Regularly monitor and report to the CIO on the effectiveness of the community provision and recommend future developments.
- To develop, monitor and review the publicity and promotion of the community provision.
- To attend, promote and act as chairperson in meetings as required
- To identify bidding opportunities to maximise funding to support the development and sustainability of new provision.
- To support the schools in developing relationships with local businesses.
- To collate the number of hours employees have worked and process payroll accordingly. 10. Liaise with HR/Payroll organisations to ensure consistent payments/wages are received.

**Skills / Knowledge and Experience**
- GCSE or equivalent plus experience of working in a similar role OR specialised skills acquired through significant on the job experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the work practices, processes and procedures relevant to the role
- Experience of supervising staff, including ability to delegate and track performance
- Experience of managing budgets and resources
- Empathy and sensitivity to the needs of others
- Good written and verbal communication skills
