**THE ROLE**

We’re looking to appoint an International Shipping Coordinator to oversee our busy Goods In / Out department. Responsible for the smooth movement of bespoke competition parts around the world, the International Shipping Coordinator operates at the very heart of our business - ensuring the continued running of key projects and customer programmes alike.

**The role responsibilities include**:

- Being the first point of contact with all carriers and shipping agents; and reviewing performance and rates to ensure best value.
- Reviewing carrier invoices and managing the process of recharging customers where applicable.
- Coordinating company imports and exports and liaising with shipping agents to ensure accurate customs declarations.
- Administering company carnets to ensure the ready movement of goods.
- Ensuring compliance with post Brexit requirements.
- Maintaining IPR logs and ensuring the movement of temporary goods is properly recorded and reported.
- Providing information to EU accountants to allow the submission of NL & PL VAT returns.
- Providing information to EU agents to enable the recovery of EU VAT.
- Seeking opportunities and implementing changes to improve the efficiency of the Goods In / Out process.

We’re looking to appoint a highly motivated and organised individual with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You should have knowledge of commercial invoices and customs requirements and be familiar with computerised stock control systems.

You should be proactive with a consistently high level of performance.

You should pride yourself on your attention to detail and have strong communication skills with excellent telephone etiquette.

You should also be capable of prioritising busy workloads to meet strict deadlines in a time-sensitive environment and be a creative thinker with a talent for resolving issues in an effective and timely manner.
