About the Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled Document Controller to join our team at James Walker Cockermouth. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing all international and customer drawings, standards, and specifications.

The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills, including knowledge of standard software and databases, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also have strong customer-facing skills and excellent communication skills.

Job Description

  1. Maintain and manage all international and customer drawings, standards, and specifications.
  2. Ensure all documentation is recorded and maintained in compliance with customer and industry requirements.
  3. Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures.
  4. Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders as required.
  5. Coordinate the review and approval processes for documents.
  6. Maintain version control of documents.
  7. Ensure all documents comply with company and project standards.

Requirements

  • Strong customer-facing skills and ethos.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Estimated Salary: £26,500 - £32,000 per annum
