**THE ROLE**
We’re looking to appoint a Travel Coordinator with a key focus on working with our WRC Test Team within in our busy Travel Office Department. The Travel Coordinator will help ensure the smooth running of travel and logistics, essential to the team’s success. The Travel Coordinator will be responsible for tasks such as creating travel itineraries, booking transportation and accommodation, and working with Team Management and local authorities with test road bookings.
The role responsibilities include:
- Contributing towards the event logistics, planning, and implementing across our WRC Test Team.
- Booking and managing flights, hotels, and rental vehicles.
- Managing and updating travel documentation for all on-event staff.
- Production of supporting documentation such as movement schedules and itineraries.
- Liaising with internal Managers to coordinate staff, vehicles, and the movement of equipment.
- Managing and documenting budgets in line with programme work statements.
- Managing any problems, changes or cancellations that occur before or during travel, ensuring that they are dealt with swiftly and effectively.
- Assisting with other programmes and tasks within the Department during quieter periods.
**WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
We’re looking to appoint a well-organised individual with exceptional attention to detail and practical approach to problem solving.
You will need to have a positive attitude towards new challenges and a willingness to learn.
Experience in a travel and logistics role is essential, preferably within Motorsport but this is not crucial.
You should be strong in both English and Mathematics and be confident using Microsoft Office, as well as learning new computer-based platforms.
You should be able to work proactively and be capable of balancing busy and varied workloads in a time-sensitive environment - confidently reacting to changing priorities and deadlines.
You should possess good interpersonal and social skills, whilst being able to collaborate and work successfully with others.
