Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities: - Assist patients with daily activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and eating - Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature - Follow care plans to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients - Provide emotional support and companionship to patients - Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients - Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members - Document patient information accurately and timely Skills: - Previous experience in home care or healthcare settings preferred - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation - Proficient in English, both written and verbal - Familiarity with care plans and ability to follow instructions - Knowledge of basic IT skills for documentation purposes - Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare professionals At our organization, we value our Healthcare Assistants and offer competitive compensation packages. **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 40 per week

**Experience**:

- United Kingdom's Care home: 1 year (preferred)

- Practical training certificate for manual handling (required)

- Learning Disability Experience Evidence (required)
