This is an exciting opportunity for driven and motivated midwives to become part of our Community Midwifery teams who will provide Community Midwifery care based from GP Practices across County Durham and Darlington, as part of our growing Teams. We have excellent working relationships with our GP partners, and Health Visiting Teams, and exceptional experianced Team Leaders ready to support you develop your skills in relation to Community Care.

We can offer flexibility to be able to provide opportunities in Teams that focus on Community Midwifery only, or a model, that allows the opportunity to support our Acute Units with a rostered shift per week, to ensure that those valuable skills of Labour Care and delivery are retained. The choice is yours

We have an excellent preceptorship programme lead by our Practice Development Team. You will be supported and welcomed into your role regardess of banding and experiance. We are keen to develop highly trained Midwives who can deliver exceptional care, to the families of County Durham and Darlington.
