This post is a newly created role to manage the school and community booking for the school age immunisation service. The postholder will co-ordinate school sessions, liaise with schools re dates and ensure communication is sent out in a timely manner. They will also manage any changes. They will also book community venues for catch up clinics.

1.Liaises with Schools, Nursing Team and Managers with regard to the effectiveness of appointment systems. Takes responsibility for ensuring that all appointments are maintained within Trust targets.
1. Book in sessions for the School Age Immunisation Service to visit schools in order to deliver the immunisation programme.
2. Contact community venues to arrange catch up clinics as requested by the locality manager.
3. Deal with communications from schools and venues regarding the booking which will include confirming sessions and changing/ rescheduling of sessions.
4. Liaise with venues prior to the session to ensure that the session will run smoothly.
5. Raise purchase orders for venues that the team hire to deliver the immunisation programme.
6. Has an effective working knowledge of School Age Immunisation Service targets and is at all times working alongside clinical and nursing staff.
7. Assists the Team in reviewing current systems within the department, ensuring that any necessary changes enhancing service provision are undertaken.
8. Provides effective communication, maintaining excellent inter-personal skills when dealing with patients and members of staff at all levels within the Trust.
9. Ensures that relevant documentation is prepared for School Age Immunisation Sessions and Clinic appointments following written standards and that the documentation contained therein is correct, so that high quality standards are maintained.

11.Takes responsibility for preparation of School Age Immunisation clinics and maintenance of clinics lists.

12.Ensures accurate data input, updating patient demographic details where necessary on the current computerised patient administration system
