**Contract Opportunity**

**Workforce Planning Consultant (strategy and performance)**

**Location**: London, Hybrid (two days a week on site)

**Rate**: £450 - £500 per day

**Length**:4 - 6 months

**Job duties**:

- Work alongside colleagues in Transformation, HR and across the organisation in the development and implementation of workforce planning frameworks and resources
- Provide expert advice relating to workforce transformation and the development of associated plans, and support upskilling managers in workforce planning
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress and review and realign project priorities as needed
- Ensure the senior management team has ready access to accurate data, projections and analysis to inform strategic and operational workforce transformation and supply programmes and initiatives
- Identify and engage with key stakeholders and develop/support working groups to help inform, shape and own resourcing plans

**Project Deliverables**:

- Develop and establish an approach to workforce planning which provides focused information to support transformation projects including service redesign and workforce planning
- Create and establish workforce plans so that the organisation can recruit, develop and retain the skills and capacity needed to deliver transformation

**Required skills/experience include**:

- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to negotiate and build productive relationships with colleagues at all levels, stakeholders and suppliers
- Strong previous experience in resource management and allocation
- A proven ability to successfully develop and implement new approaches to workforce supply, planning and role design
- Experience with supporting transformational change projects to business-as-usual practices
- A professional qualification in project management and/or human resources
