**Business Support Administrator**

This supporting role will be part of our Business Support Team and you will be required to work at the Company’s premises; at 9 Marconi Gate, Staffordshire Technology Park, Stafford, ST18 0FZ.

**Purpose of Job**:
As a key member of the Business Support Team, you will be assisting with the delivery of effective and efficient administrative and technical support for our Building Control & Ancillary Services.

Ancillary services include technical audits for housing and commercial warranties, fire risk
assessment, energy assessment and pre - completion testing.

**Key Responsibility and Activities**
- A point of contact for business support team
- Check the validity, completeness and accuracy of building regulation submissions, and instructions for ancillary services, including the accuracy of plans, correctness of fees, and completeness of forms in accordance with agreed procedures and legislation and entering onto the Company’s database within specific deadlines.
- Ensure that all necessary documentation is sent to Local Authorities and Clients/Agents.
- To Prepare and issue consultations to Water Authorities, Structural Engineers and to register and upload responses from consultees and pass to the relevant surveyor.
- Prepare Building Regulation Final Certificates and issuing to Local Authorities and applicants/agents.
- To prepare and issue quotes to Clients/Agents
- To assist with area surveyor management, including the processing of reports for area managers and Directors,
- To deal with general building control, and other technical, enquiries which may require some technical knowledge of the Building Regulations and warranty processes ( training will be given where required )
- Carry out a range of daily duties including; organise and book site inspections
- Maintenance of shared calendars
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Invoicing for inspection fees and monitoring payments and dealing with debt recovery.
- Assisting the Quality Manager in the maintenance of the Company’s ISO9001 Quality
- Management System - including carrying out internal audits on Building Control and Ancillary projects
- To assist and be involved in the marketing and promotion of the Company including updates to social media and website
- To provide support to surveyors using Company systems to ensure that the systems are used in the most efficient and effective manner.
- To work closely with staff to ensure that the Company offers a seamless service for customers
- Contribute to the development of customer services through identification of service and procedural improvements.
- Carrying out any other duties as required by the Directors

**Salary**: £22,000.00 per year
