Futures Recruitment is working with local authority to recruit a Localities Lead on an interim basis (3 to 6 month initial contract with possible extension).

Paying £400.00 per day - umbrella.

This role is being offered on a WFH basis with the requirement to travel into the office 3 to 4 times a month.

About the role:

- Responsible for translating strategy into a coherent plan of action for a key locality
- Develop a coherent, compelling narrative for a key locality
- Build strong working relationships with a range of partners across key localities
- Engage and maximise the benefits from major projects being taken forward in the county
- Contribute to determining the effectiveness of interventions in place through analysis
- Work closely with the Economic Growth Delivery Managers and Head of Localities to effectively prioritise and target activity
- Develop and maintain tools with which to analyse the effectiveness of the interventions in places

About you:

- Have a solid understanding of project and programme management
- Demonstrable ability to interpret and analyse data in order to draw conclusions around how key challenges can be met
- An understanding and experience of business case development, urban regeneration and/or economic development would be advantageous
- Working collaboratively is critical to the roles and you will be required to demonstrate strong influencing and leadership skills
- Naturally self-motivated, confident and committed to continuous improvement and innovation
