We are recruiting for an Environmental Compliance Administrator intern required for a 12-month fixed term contract for international electronics, well-known brand based in Weybridge. This is a fantastic opportunity to join their Customer Service and Planningteam.
Our client employs over 82,000 people across 81 sites around the world and will allow you to realise your dreams and provide opportunities for growth based on individual talent.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Produce weekly and monthly reports both financial and operational.
- Work with both internal LG departments at local and European level and external companies and Government bodies.
- Ensure that LGEUK complies with environmental legislation and all reports & financial obligations are completed on time.
- Analyse data to ensure LGEUK are not exposed to risk.
- Monitor both EU & UK legislation for changes to existing legislation.
- Ad hoc support on request from top management
Primary objectives of the Role is to ensure that the client are compliant in all aspects of Environmental legislation for example but not limited to:
- RoHs
- REACHWEEE
- Waste & Packaging
- Batteries directive
**Key relationships within this role**:
**Internal**:
- SVC, Finance Department, Field Service department, Sales & Product Managers, UK Planning team
**External** - Manufacturers in Far East, Southeast Asia, Poland etc, Authorised service providers and dealers
