Job Introduction
As a **Finance **Administrator** at **Scottish Parliament. **You'll provide efficient administration to support the site, from Payroll to collating meeting minutes, You're the one with the skills to ensure behind the scenes of facilities run like clockwork and ensure your managers feel supported. **What you’ll do**:

- Processing of EDI’s and invoices following correct stock policies and processes
- Complete stock takes in line with policy
- Complete cash handling and management processes on a daily basis
- Complete month end processes for stock and cash.
- To process weekly payroll in line with guidelines.
- Assist with casual staff administration such as the leaver process, filing of leavers.
- Changing pay rates in line with yearly minimum wage changes
- Complete any and all administration duties as and when required.
- Ensure all necessary filing is kept up to date.
- To ensure any sensitive information is stored securely, and in line with GDPR.
- Attend all necessary team meetings, training sessions and one-to-ones as directed.
- Be flexible & adaptable to changes, working in different areas as necessary due to business demands, to further develop own skills or in line with any reasonable request.
- To complete any reasonable request

**What you bring**:

- Polite and professional telephone manner.
- Ability to organise, multitask, prioritise, and work well under pressure.
- Adaptable to change and flexible in approach to work.
- Payroll experience and using UDC and SAP
- Use of labour management systems
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages; particularly Excel, Outlook and Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients and employees
