Our volunteers help make this happen.- Tasks: Assisting with promotion of specific training events/workshops and recruiting participants.
- Designing and/or delivering training/workshops for professionals and organisations around specific topics.
- Creating a welcoming learning environment in which learners can thrive.
- Building positive relationships with training/workshop attendees.
- Helping with setting up training/workshop sessions and clearing away at the end.
- Reviewing and evaluating feedback from training/workshop attendees.
- Adhering to Barnardo's policies and procedures at all times, including Barnardo's: Safeguarding; Equality, Diversity and Inclusion; Health & Safety; Data Protection; Confidentiality; Recording policies and procedures.
- Participating fully in training and supervision.
- Volunteering within Barnardo's Basis and Values.- Skills: Reliable, punctual and trustworthy.
- Approachable and welcoming.
- Preferably, have experience with delivering training.
- The ability to think creatively when communicating with different audiences.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
