As part of the Trust's new Administration Academy, we are looking to appoint a full-time trainer to support the improvement in patient administration Trust wide as we continue with the implementation the new Elective Patient Access Policy.

The role requires travel across all three main Trust sites to support the delivery of training to all outpatient admin staff.
The Trainer will make a key contribution to providing a comprehensive package of training.

The post holder will support the delivery of training for a wide variety of different specialties, systems, disciplines.

Primarily focussed on delivering training related to management of PAS (currently iPM), process and procedures linking to the Elective Care Access Policy,

1.Design, deliver and evaluate training on a daily basis.

4. Receive, assess, and respond to user queries, providing problem solving support and follow-up training, if appropriate.

5. Work closely with others in designing, planning, and delivering refresher training for staff with the key aims of: - improving the quality, timeliness and completeness of data collected, enhancing the appreciation of the importance and benefits of accurately recording data.

6. Ensure that all data regarding delegates, training timetable, accommodation, etc. is supplied in a timely and complete manner which supports the updating of the Training database.

7. Evaluate and monitor training, refresher, and awareness courses, delivered within the remit of the post, including competence-monitoring.

8. Actively support and contribute to the development and delivery of workshops, presentations, awareness sessions, etc. to promote best practice and demonstrate the scope of the training service provision.

9. Produce regular statistical and activity reports, which assist in monitoring the training service provided and its impact on data quality programmes.

10. Assist with relevant Training Needs Analysis and designing training
methodologies in response to operational requirements.

11. Ensure that all master copies of training documentation are updated on a regular basis, in line with operational and system changes. Periodically review and assess training materials and methods, to ensure best practice and a high-quality service is maintained.

12. Foster a positive approach to change management and offer ongoing
support and ‘handholding’ to staff involved.
