We are continually seeking ways in which to improve the experience for our customers. Our Customer Contact Centre uses industry leading systems to deliver excellent customer service and ensure that requests are speedily and effectively resolved.

Our delivery teams are responsible for a variety of customer support matters which range from processing customer compensation claims to complaints handling, group bookings and assisted/special services, quality assurance and fraud prevention and detection and retails sales to individuals and corporates.

**About the job**

The role will report to the Talent Acquisition & Engagement Manager and will oversee and complete the Recruitment for the Contact Centre in Sheffield. This will include all customer service positions and management roles that are to be recruited to. This will be a role CV sifting, screening & supporting the interview process. All administration including Right to Work checks for all new recruits.

This role will also support the recruitment for a diverse range of roles within First Rail Holdings, Evo Rail, Hull Trains, Lumo, Tram Operations & Mistral Data. This will be advertising roles, organising interviews and screening when requested.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Work with the Talent Aquisition Manager to create and maintain a steady flow of talent into the business,
- Create, post, and manage job adverts and job descriptions for a range of roles within FirstGroup,
- Help the Hiring Team with recruiting methods and interview questions.
- Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions.
- Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met.
- Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires on our ATS.
- Stay up to date with current recruiting methods.
- Seek and act upon constructive feedback on recruitment process and practices as part of continuous improvement,
- Execute recruitment social media communication in accordance with HR and other existing branding/marketing guidelines,
- Completing vetting checks for new recruits to the business.
- Maintaining and developing insightful reports, to drive efficiencies within the business

**As a minimum, you will need to have**:

- Proven work experience as a Recruiting/Talent Aquisition Coordinator or Recruiter
- Experience and knowledge of recruitment systems
- Hands on experience with various selection processes like phone interviews and reference checks
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (e.g., structured, competency based and behavioural)
- Ability to use psychometric tests and other assessment tools.
- Familiarity with social media, especially LinkedIn
- Must be able to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to cope well under pressure.
- Have strong organisation skills.
- Strong IT skills including Excel.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all employees across First Group

**About the location**

Sheffield city centre. Ten minutes' walk from Sheffield Station, close to Tram and Bus links. Travel to other UK locations as appropriate.
