At Babcock we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together, and if you join us, you can play your part as a Motor Transport (MT) Driver working from our RAF Cranwell site.

**The role**

As a Motor Transport (MT) Driver, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Ensuring all vehicle faults are reported promptly

**Day to day,**
- Ensure that he/she undertakes driving duties as required pertinent to licences held and that a valid driving/operating licence or permit is held.
- Ensure compliance with Dept of Transport, EU, Babcock Transport Policy, and National regulations.
- Ensure compliance with MOD/Civilian/RAF/Company practices, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure all vehicle faults are reported promptly.
- Loading/unloading and restraint of loads.
- Ensure full and complete Daily inspections are carried out when tasked or required. Any faults found are to be reported promptly to MT Control personnel using the correct documentation.
- Carry out other tasks within your sphere of experience and capability as directed by Babcock Management.
- Assist with the maintenance and husbandry of the MT yard, compounds and vehicles.

**Essential experience of the Motor Transport (MT) Driver**
- Previous driving experience in Mechanical Transport and Logistics environment.
- Experience with Driving hours and Tachographs.
- Familiar with Vehicle inspections
- Ability to demonstrate practical and theoretical standards required.
- Clean driving Licence Cat B.
- D
- DCPC

This role is full time, and you will be working onsite at RAF Cranwell
