Business Support Officer Part Time

We are currently seeking a part time Business Support Officer who is looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced role within our Business Support Team. The vacancy is for two days per week.
You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative support service to several operational teams within the organisation. These teams will include Environmental Services, Housing and Regulatory Services, Corporate and Customer Services, Finance, Procurement and Property Services and Leisure Services.
Your key skills will include:
- Inputting and extracting data using a range of management information systems, to support with the processing of purchase orders/invoices and working to strict deadlines to ensure that the work is completed in a timely manner. This will also include collating data to support with performance management.
- Retrieving of files from the basement including filing and co-ordinating of files.
- You will need excellent ICT skills, including the ability to use Word, Excel, Outlook and other ICT packages as required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, liaising with members of the public, senior managers, and staff members within the organisation.
- Excellent organisational skills, work methodically, be able to prioritise your workload and meet multiple deadlines.
- You will be a team player and will have the ability to use your initiative and work with mínimal supervision.
- Demonstrate a resilient and positive attitude with the ability to contribute constructive ideas to the team to support continuous improvement
The post holder will support the development of a positive organisational culture that is outward looking, evidence based and customer focused.
