**Job Purpose**

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Recruitment on Demand business to establish, develop and expand relationships with new clients. The focus of the role will be opening up new client accounts for our OnDemand Recruitment Serviceline with an emphasis on high-volume accounts.

In addition to new client wins, you will have responsibility to ensure that services are delivered through operational teams while simultaneously looking for opportunities to increase both revenue and the breadth of services used within client accounts.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Building Recruitment On Demand relationships with new clients, while spotting opportunities to pass to our Solutions Sales team to expand service offerings with our HR and Outsourcing service lines
- Maintain and develop relationships at both strategic and operational levels within client organisations while simultaneously expanding contacts
- Coordinating the delivery of services across the business to clients, ensuring this is joined up through a single point of contact where possible, in addition to acting as an escalation point across all client accounts
- Involvement in the management of recruitment projects won within client accounts
- Maintain daily, weekly and monthly reporting
- Inject fun, motivation and ensure the well-being of the RoD team acting as a role model and senior member of the team

**Knowledge/Experience/Behaviours**:

- A proven track record in sales, ideally within Talent/Recruitment
- The ability to spot an opportunity by reading between the lines and passing these opportunities to the Solution Sales team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - engagement is at operational and strategic levels across HR, Recruitment and wider business functions. You will be required to have the ability to adapt communication styles accordingly
- The ability to gain buy-in from prospects and existing clients combined with credibility and gravitas when dealing with senior stakeholders
- High performer who exceeds expectations with positivity and the desire to delight clients
- Strong planning skills for targeting specific clients/markets and securing or increasing revenues across these areas
- Results orientated with a focus on service delivery and service improvement
- Drive, ambition, influence and commitment; balancing this with a genuine care about direct colleagues and wider relationships across the business
- Strong resilience
- Excellent time management and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
