CV Life have an exciting opportunity to be a Community Project Coordinator who has a passion for community projects and outreach programmes by being part of the Community Development Team.

CV Life operates premium leisure and cultural facilities for use by all communities in Coventry and visitors to the city, offering everything from attractions, museums, leisure centres, educational programmes to community outreach projects.

Do you have experience of project management and have an interest in helping underrepresented and disadvantaged community groups and individuals?

Role and Responsibilities:

- This role involves managing and coordinating the delivery of various community and outreach projects across Coventry in support of the Community Development Programme.
- Ensuring projects and programmes are delivered in line with their aims and objectives along with collecting and monitoring associated data.
- Manage, support and coordinate staff to ensure we deliver high quality programmes whilst meeting deadlines and outcomes.
- To produce regular reports for programme managers and organisations that provide funding.
- To work closely with the Community Development Officer to source and develop new community and outreach projects.
- Help in identifying new streams of funding.
- Management of ongoing project budgets ensuring they are monitored and delivered to target.
- Responsible for budgets on specific projects.

This post is mainly based at Centre AT7. Days and hours of work can vary each week and sometimes projects and events will be outside of normal working hours and may require you to attend.

**Scope**:
Coventry Sports Foundation and Culture Coventry Trust are operating as CV Life, so that the scope of this Job Description as a CV Life document extends to cover the employment of employment contracts held with either Coventry Sports Foundation or Culture Coventry Trust.

**Overall purpose and objective of the role**:
The purpose of this position is to manage and coordinate the delivery of the CV Life Community Projects and Outreach Programmes across Coventry.

**Main duties of the role**:

- To oversee and coordinate a range of programmes and initiative as part of the CV Life Community Delivery Programme.
- To be responsible for managing, supporting, and coordinating staffing to ensure the high-quality delivery of community programmes.
- To be responsible and have oversight for budgetary and financial controls on specific programmes and projects.
- To coordinate, collect and monitor a range of data for all projects and programmes.
- To ensure programme and projects are delivered against their achievable outcomes, aims and objectives.
- To attend any community meetings required.
- To manage all delivery and project staff to ensure they are meeting set deadlines and outcomes, as well as completing regular 1:1 meetings and performance management.
- To complete regular reports for funders, programme managers and in house reporting as and when required.
- To work with the Community Development Officer on developing new programme ideas and identify new funding streams and opportunities.
- To identify new project ideas and opportunities in centre or across the community to engage more community members.
- To help promote and expand the work of the CV Life Community Development Team into new programme streams and communities across Coventry.
- To work with local partners, community groups and other organisations to provide new and diverse activities and opportunities across Coventry.
- To promote the work of CV Life in communities across Coventry.
- To develop new programme and initiatives working alongside key partners and National Governing Bodies of Sport.
