In addition to offering a competitive salary and benefits package for the position of Design Coordinator, the company is also keen to invest in the personal and career development of their members of staff. he Design Coordinator role As Design Coordinator you will be responsible for coordinating the design process on a £10 Million Design & Build project. Reporting to the Regional Design Manager the role will be responsible for coordinating the design process including buildability and value engineering; working with clients, architects and consultants; attending and chairing design meetings with relevant stakeholders; coordinate, manage and disseminate all relevant drawings and paperwork; ensuring the design process is managed throughout and the building is successfully delivered in line with all specifications. Required experience Successful applicants will have a proven track record of undertaking the role of Design Coordinator for a main contractor who undertake projects of a similar size and nature. In addition successful applicants should either be from a trade, engineering or site management background or hold an HNC or degree level qualification in a construction discipline.
