Advanced Clinical Practitioner

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) you will work as part of the respiratory and palliative medical workforce, providing assessments for patients across all areas of the department. You will support the decision making of diagnosis, provide treatment and will liaise with the Registrar / Consultants for support where required.
Provide direct expert professional clinical care through health assessment, initiation of treatment, formulation and alteration of treatment and monitoring of care programs.
Facilitate the development of clinical practice through research and education of the multi-disciplinary team.
Evaluate care through quality assurance initiatives and assessment of clinical outcomes.
Be an expert resource for other healthcare practitioners.
Ensure that the highest standards of clinical care are delivered.
The post holder will ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence
The post holder will provide specialist clinical leadership within this area of care and will lead and develop specialist education.
**University Hospitals of North Midlands has two sites**: Royal Stoke University Hospital, located in Stoke-on-Trent, and County Hospital, located in Stafford. From these hospitals we provide a full range of general acute hospital services for people living in and around Staffordshire and beyond.
