**The Opportunity**:
As we continue to grow from strength to strength we are expanding our training team to include a new exciting training role. Our Trainer will report to our Sales Training Manager. Responsibilities include training new employees and supporting experienced employees to improve their performance.

**More about the role**:

- creating compliant training material for sign off with and by the Sales Training Manager,
- delivering training sessions,
- identifying skills gaps,
- ensuring that all training material is up to date, compliant and relevant,
- ensuring all employees undertake relevant online learning,
- supporting the Team Managers with individual Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) that identify training needs,
- supporting any personal and professional development identified,
- maintaining Companywide training needs analysis / skills matrix,
- collating training data for overall Company matrix.

Experience in working in the motor industry would be advantageous but is by no means essential.

**A bit more about the Family**:
Founded in 2003 by Michael Smyth and his three sons, David, Peter and John, Swansway has grown from five motor dealerships in Cheshire and the West Midlands to the 20 dealerships we have today. From Birmingham in the South to Carlisle in the North we partner with eleven brands including; Audi, Volkswagen, Land Rover, Honda and many more.

We’re expanding our own-brand, Motor Match our used sites, and we don’t stop at dealerships; we operate four Volkswagen Group Trade Part Centres, an Accident Repair Centre, a Group Fleet Sales Centre and an eBay shop re-cycling obsolete parts. All this is supported by our Head Office in Crewe.
