**Job Type**:12 month Fixed Term Contract
**Location and flexible working**:This role could be based in either our Wythall or Telford office working two to three days per week at home. We recognise the benefits of flexible working and will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.
**Closing Date**:24th February
**Salary and benefits**:£40,000 - £60,000 depending upon skills and experience, plus 16% bonus up to 32%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

**The role**
Are you ready to showcase your passion for communication at Phoenix Group? We’re looking for a vibrant, talented, and enthusiastic Internal Communications & Engagement Consultant to join our busy Internal Communications and Engagement team.
Working for the Senior Internal Communications and Engagement Business Partner, you’ll be part of a multi skilled, super-collaborative team.
As a collaborative team there’s plenty of opportunity to work across the entire Group, making a real difference across our Phoenix team. You’ll be supporting more than 8,000 colleagues, helping them understand our core social purpose, and how the work they do delivers on our growth strategy.

You’ll be responsible for planning and delivering multi-channel strategic communication programmes and campaigns for colleagues in the UK, and play a key role in driving engagement across the organisation. You’ll partner with stakeholders from across our business, from local teams to senior leaders and everyone in-between.
You’ll bring fresh ideas and approaches to engage, inform and entertain our colleagues across our extensive communications agenda. You’ll champion accessibility and be the bridge between our colleagues and the business, constantly measuring your success, innovating and always responding to feedback. You’ll be confident, willing to challenge and able to navigate complexity. You’ll deeply understand your audience to enable you to help effectively deliver our strategic change programme.
**Key responsibilities**:
- Devise and implement creative and innovative Internal Communications strategy and plans across the business, keeping the colleague experience in mind
- Create content for multiple channels, including copy, visuals, videos and more
- Measure success of Internal Communications strategy and plans
- Work in collaboration with the Internal Communications and Engagement team, developing positive working relationships with all colleagues
- Work across teams in the business, liaising with stakeholders at all levels to deliver key communications. Influencing key stakeholders across the group to ensure best communication practices are followed
- Provide strategic internal communications advice to stakeholders in line with their expectations and business objectives using own initiative and drawing on strategic support from senior managers and department heads as required
**What are we looking for?**
- Strong internal communications experience within a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent content creation skills
- Able to communicate effectively to a broad range of audiences with an appropriate tone of voice
- A team player with an ability to foster great working relationships with stakeholders at all levels
- Good knowledge of Office suite, such as SharePoint, PowerPoint, Teams and others
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage expectations
- Able to work autonomously and part of a team
- Self-starter with a positive can do attitude
**Desirable**:
- IOIC or CIPR qualifications
