**Become an Internal Communications Executive**

We are looking for an experienced Internal Communications Executive to support our colleague communications through excellent copywriting, creative campaigns, and exceptional planning skills.

Reporting to our Internal Communications and Engagement Manager, your role will be pivotal to developing and delivering our internal communications and engagement strategy for around 4,000 colleagues You’ll be working alongside our Internal Communications Coordinator and supporting their development.

We have an ambitious People plan at The Works and we need a special someone who can support the delivery of our plans through inspiring content - bringing our purpose, values, and brand to life.

**Your Mission**
- Support the Internal Communications and Engagement Manager to deliver our internal communications and engagement strategy and calendar of campaigns and events.
- Offer strategic communications advice and support to stakeholders guiding and coaching colleagues to achieve their communications goals.
- Create eye-catching communications campaigns and materials to promote various projects, events and activities to colleagues.
- Coordinate engagement events and activities considering those colleagues hybrid working, in-store, in our Distribution Centre and Support Centre.
- Use your design and copywriting skills to bring our fun tone of voice and brand to life for our Crafty, Caring and Can-Do colleagues.
- Communicate the great work we’re doing in our ‘Doing Business Better’ campaign including our environment, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing and giving something back pillars.
- Support the promotion and follow-up of our annual Make a Difference engagement survey.
- Work with stakeholders and colleagues across the business to collate content ensuring clarity, consistency, tone of voice and quality of content across every touchpoint.
- Use our Communications Dashboard to evaluate effectiveness of communications and our channels making recommendations for future campaigns.

- A communications whizz with an eye for detail, a creative outlook and someone full of passion for great communications and engagement.
- A brand ambassador and someone who can adapt to our fun tone of voice and live and breathe our Crafty, Caring and Can-Do values.
- You’ll be an internal comms pro with previous experience working in internal communications for a fast-paced organisation.
- Evidence of delivering campaigns and colleague experience activities to wide and varied audiences.
- First class copywriting skills with ability to adapt tone of voice dependent on audience, with flawless grammar, spelling and punctuation.
- You’ll have cracking design skills to help create graphics, internal comms materials, video and be a brand guardian.
- Work collaboratively to build relationships with stakeholders always listening and building on feedback.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise with good organisational skills and time management.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Video software and managing communications platforms.
- Ability to create and edit video typically on a smartphone.
- A team player who embraces the company culture and gets involved.
- A positive attitude and willing to learn.
