**PAY RATES**:
Weekday £11.50

Weekday/Night £12.00

Sunday £12.50

Bank Holiday £14.50
- **Essentially for this role you will be required to have - City & Guilds Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare or equivalent as recognised by Ofsted**_

**The role**:

- Ensuring the young persons needs, rights, views are met and the care is centred on their individual needs
- Promoting individuality, diversity, self-esteem & improved general well-being
- Involving the young person in all aspects of their care
- Keeping the young person safe
- Advocating to ensure the young person receives appropriate healthcare and education services
- Assisting with daily recording and keeping all information confidential
- Work in partnership with parents, families & professional services etc.
- Flexible approach to work to provide consistent care

**What we are looking for in you**:

- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working in a residential childcare setting or supporting young people
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Good verbal communication and written skills as well as non-verbal communication awareness
- Ability to listen and empathise
- Having a positive & proactive approach
- Sense of humour
