About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Assistant to join our team at The Chestnuts Care Home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with daily activities, including personal care and mobility support.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a sense of well-being and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to high standards of care and hygiene.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience of supporting adults in a care setting or community environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and families.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance and ability to maintain confidentiality.
