We are seeking a Support Worker to join our Community Connector team, working with individuals affected by alcohol and drug use. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of the harm caused by substance misuse and a sympathetic approach to those who struggle with addiction.
Aquarius, a charity dedicated to helping people overcome the harm caused by alcohol, drugs, and gambling, is part of the 'One Recovery Buckinghamshire' partnership. We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team, working closely with our clients to provide support and guidance.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in social care, preferably with an NVQ 2/3 in Social Care, and be able to work to policy and procedural requirements. Good written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain accurate records, are essential. A flexible approach and commitment to client-centred care are also required.
This is a permanent full-time role, requiring the post holder to work 37 hours per week.
