About the Role:


Fevaca is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing specialized care for young people aged 16-18 years old residing in our supported accommodation.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Work closely with a tight-knit team to build relationships and trust with young people, supporting them in learning key skills for independence.
  • Assist young people in achieving their goals, promoting education, and ensuring their health and wellbeing.
  • Support young people in developing life skills, promoting independence, and encouraging them to take control of their future.
  • Work flexible shift patterns, including day and night shifts, and be available to cover sleep-in shifts (maximum of three per week).

Requirements:

  • Commitment to working safely and ensuring contractual and regulatory compliance.
  • Willingness to attend trainings and further your knowledge.
  • Good communication and written skills, with fluent English.
  • Positive problem-solving approach to challenging situations.
  • Reliability and good time-keeping.
