Digital Engagement Officer

We at Brook Street are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our multi-award-winning client for a Digital Engagement Coordinator. Our client is based in the Inverness area, looking for the right individual to help expand and promote their online presence.
About the Role
This is a 9AM-5PM, 36 hours per week role, reporting to the Sales Manager. Duties will include:

- Preparation and management of content on the client's website, including copy-editing selected content pieces, implementing landing pages, procuring and uploading images, videos, and other content E.G. Podcasts alongside management of the client's socialmedia platforms (E.G. Instagram, Facebook etc.), responding to posts, and making use of reporting/analytics.
- Remain up to date with all things 'marketing', from current software tools and trends in the client's industry to reporting on Google AdWords marketing campaigns and monitoring competitor activity. Keeping in contact with brand ambassadors to support in amplifyingthe client's interests and voice.
- Supporting other colleagues across the business to drive results.
Essential Skills:

- Excellent writing skills with the ability to turn complex information into engaging and readable content
- Familiar with social media management and standard scheduling tools
- Strong editorial skills with high level of attention to detail
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills
Desirable Skills:

- Understanding of the Highlands area
- Experience in the travel and tourism industry
- Familiarity with Adobe image editing programmes (or similar)
- Understanding Social Media advertising concepts
- Ability to work remotely under mínimal supervision.
