A large charity that offers several residential, respite and short break services throughout Oxfordshire is hiring a Children Support Worker-Waking Night for one of their residential homes in Abingdon. For someone that prefers working in the night and ispassionate for creating a nurturing environment for vulnerable children in which they can thrive and live happy childhoods.

The charity is a well-established children charity, one of the biggest in the UK offering a variety of services throughout the country with a focus on disadvantaged and children in need from all backgrounds. They are an Outstanding Ofsted provider and youcan benefit of training and career development opportunities from their in-house built Academy.

Is passionate for social care and providing support to disadvantaged children. Experience with children that have different complex needs is preferred. Experience working with children in any setting is a must for this role due to the complexity of the careprovided.

More about the role:
Children Support Worker-Waking Night is offered in 30 hours per week with a shift pattern of 9.15pm to 7.15am. More about the rota flexibility could be discussed in the interview. The residential home is located in Abingdon where 6 young people with differentcomplex needs live. The children are between the age of 5 to 17 years and are a mixed of Mental health, physical and emotional needs.

The salary for Children support worker-Waking night is between £20,808 - £28,901 FTE (plus night time allowance).
