The company has several early adopter clients delivering revenue. These are primarily in the UK with the NHS and Italy, where they are successfully conducting a pilot project with pharmacies. The ongoing corporate strategy is to attract customers of scalein Europe who can help them to build revenue quickly, with most new business expected to come via distributors with some direct sales to academia and research.

**Role**:
The Director of Commercial Growth is a pivotal position driving product growth and revenue in the clinical and pharmaceutical market segments in the EU

They will also work with the team on future fundraising rounds

The Director of Commercial Growth will build a sales and distribution network in the longer term

Initial focus is direct sales to early clinical retail adopters. The first clinical adopters will mostly be specialists in private healthcare. The pharmaceutical industry is a second market for longer-term consideration, where the product will support drugtrials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Developing a detailed commercial plan to meet the Company's realistic financial targets
- Accountable to the CEO for executing the commercial plan
- Contributing to and executing the Company's marketing plan
- Responsibility for the promotion of the product at trade shows, conferences and through digital channels
- Responsible for raising the Company's corporate profile and improving the product brand value
- Playing a pivotal role in the Company's distribution strategy and adopting a vital role in negotiations
- Identifying future sales hires and managing (future) sales personnel
- Engaging with the Company's Opinion Leader Advisory Group to inform sales activities
- Provide usability and performance feedback to QMS and regulatory manager, and developers

**Skills/Qualifications**:

- Proven medical device or digital health professional with a diagnostic background and the ability to promote a product to convincing individuals to acquire the system.
- Success in a commercial role with an early-stage technology, medical device or digital health company or with establishing a new product range for an existing business
- New business generation and motivation to exceed sales targets
- Numerate and familiarity interpreting accounting data
- Understanding of medical devices and ability to learn the main technical aspects of the product
- Ability to clearly and concisely explain complex digital health solutions
- Healthcare systems in various geographies e.g., UK and Europe
- Degree level qualification or equivalent track record in a commercial role
- Languages are desirable, in particular, Italian, Spanish, Dutch or German would be beneficial
