**Location**: you can be based at their Glasgow or Edinburgh office depending on your location.

**Role and Responsibilities**: As a Chief Surveyor/ Commercial Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of their projects while fostering strong client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Project Financial Management: Oversee a small team and manage project budgets, costs, and financial forecasts, ensuring projects are delivered within budget constraints.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring that projects are executed smoothly and any challenges are proactively addressed.
- Reporting : Liaise with all departments across the business such as pre contract and post contract
- Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to your team, promoting collaboration and high-performance culture.
- Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the company by identifying new opportunities and participating in business development activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Proven experience in commercial operations within the fit-out or construction industry
- Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Leadership and team management experience
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite

**Salary**: £17,309.75-£56,748.10 per year
