LCON105We are looking to appoint a Departmental Administrator to support our newly formed academic department of Popular Music and Voice. The department currently includes undergraduate degree programmes in Popular Music, Songwriting and Folk and the MA Music programme. The department will be looking to develop this portfolio over time.

The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the department management team, offering administrative support and liaising with other departments across the conservatoire including finance, procurement, HR, registry, timetabling and exams.

This role, which reports to the Head of Department, will support the departmental and institutional reporting cycles, collating data from various sources and monitoring departmental actions.

The role holder will have previous administrative experience, excellent communication skills and experience of working with large, multi faceted teams. Organisational skills are essential - including diary management across the team, planning for upcoming events, minuting meetings and producing reports. Experience of working with virtual learning environments would be desirable but we are keen to hear from people who have used a range of online platforms in their previous areas of employment.
