Response Desk Co-ordinator

To deal appropriately with incoming and outgoing calls, record accurate details and provide appropriate telephone assistance.
Assist in the mobilisation and control of all accident and emergency resources.
Ensure the highest standard of efficiency and full utilisation of resources in order to provide an effective and economical service which achieves the required performance standards.
Effectively contribute to the achievement of the Trusts KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators).
Answer calls within the control centre in 3 seconds (emergency line) and record details using the facilities provided.
Achieve and maintain competence in Criteria Based Dispatch and/or any other call prioritisation system and use such systems in the manner intended during the call registration process.
Support other control staff in the transmission of data and information relating to the deployment of resources within the Trust and neighbouring emergency services.
Assist in the control and co-ordination of major incidents as per Service procedures and instructions.
