Mulberry Catering Co is a fresh new catering company dishing-up food bursting with flavour and service dripping with charisma. An ambitious company with an appetite for quick growth within the events and hospitality sector.

Description:
We are looking for a confident Events Co-ordinator with common sense, charisma and some experience. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a junior events role in a fast growing company.

You will spend 3 or 4 days per week in the office, and here your responsibilities will include:

- Liaising with prospective clients, and providing quotes and invoices as required
- Liaising with venues and suppliers
- Arranging and attending meetings with prospective and current clients.
- Event planning
- Copyrighting and proofreading for blog posts, website, social media, brochures and other marketing material
- Arranging Front of House staff for upcoming events

Approximately, 1 or 2 days per week will be spent at events, most commonly weddings. Here we will need somebody who can:

- Manage the Wait Team and ensure an efficient service
- Liaise with the chefs during service
- Interact with clients, guests and suppliers
- Pitch in with whatever is required. This may include waiting tables and washing dishes.

We are looking for applicants who can demonstrate the following experience:

- Experience of working at events and / or weddings, and the challenges that the industry can present
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Copyrighting and proofreading to a high standard
- A confident and friendly telephone manner
- Leadership skills and the ability to manage a happy team
- A full driving license as you will be required to drive company vehicles, including vans (no prior experience of van driving is necessary).
