Communications Officer

Our client, an healthcare organisation are currently looking for a talented Communications Officer for a contract in Chester.
£160 per day (via an umbrella company)
Tenure: 3 months+
Hybrid: 2 days in the Chester office, 3 days remote
This Communications Officer will play a key role in contributing to the overall communications strategy by developing, implementing and evaluating communication plans within the Trust.
Key skills & experience required:
- Excellent knowledge and strong experience of communications and PR techniques, procedures and best practice
- Experience of communications for a large and complex organisation
- Excellent photography/video recording and editing skills
- Ability to produce a wide range of written information tailored to different audiences and communications channels, which adhere to brand guidelines and best practice
- Website management, including Content Management Systems (CMSs)
- Media handling, including preparing statements and issuing press releases
- Excellent knowledge of social media and experience of using social media in a professional capacity
This role will have remote-working opportunities but will require regular visits to the Chester site.
