The Evans Group of Companies is a leading B2B supplier that specializes within the Soft & Home Furnishings market. We design and produce everything from curtain fabrics and window hardware to fabrics for domestic and contract markets. The group compromises of four divisions including Evans Textiles, Bespoke by Evans & WM Clark & Sons.

The Sales Administrator will be a key link between customers and our brand, so clear, concise communication skills are essential. You will be passionate in customer service to help our customers and support in the day-to-day administrative tasks for the company. This role will take joint responsibility for all aspects of sales administration as well as ensuring the customer receives a high level of care when placing orders or querying product, often within strict time frames.

**About You**

You will be a hardworking, articulate and friendly customer service professional to join our Sales Administration team where you will play a key role in providing the highest level of service to customers.

You should be fully proficient in Microsoft Office suite, an excellent telephone manner and have the ability to use a range of communication skills with emphasis on positivity, empathy and understanding. You should be self-motivated with the ability to problem solve when faced with unfamiliar or complicated customer complaints or objections.

You will enjoy juggling lots of different activities at once, can deal with multiple projects/deadlines and have the ability to work under pressure. The role requires a willingness to learn and work to new exciting challenges but also handle repetitive tasks.

In the main you will need to know how to work independently and be trusted with all tasks given. You will need to be an effective communicator to be able to report any issues and caring enough to ensure that you put both the business and our customers at the heart of everything you do.

Duties will include (list not exhaustive);
- Answering incoming calls
- Order processing
- Goods Receipt of incoming stock
- Building and maintaining relationships with existing and potential new customers
- Price Quotations
- Assist the Finance Dept. in opening new accounts.
- Prepare Carrier Manifests for shipping
- Produce End of Day reports as required
- Query and resolve stock disputes with the Warehouse
- Distribution - supervise all aspects of transportation
- Deal with customer complaints, returns and collections
- Labelling and packaging - ensure all relevant documents are prepared for shipping
- Assist with shared Sales Team responsibilities

Previous experience in a Sales/Customer services role is essential. Full training on products and services we offer will be provided. The successful applicant will report to the Sales Office Manager and assist the Sales Manager and Directors as required.
