Dental Receptionist

A lovely new position has just become available for an experienced Dental Receptionist to join a busy, friendly mixed dental practice located in the Park Royal area.
The role is part time working 3 days / week preferably a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday with a view to start as soon as possible. We are recruiting a skilled experienced Dental Receptionist who possesses strong people skills, knowledge of dental treatments as well as a range of interpersonal abilities, effective communication, empathy, and the ability to build a rapport with patients.
**Position: Experienced Dental Receptionist** **(Must have previous experience working in a dental practice)**
**Rate**:£14/ hr ( Negotiable dependant on experience)
**Days**: Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays
**Hours**: 9am-6pm
**Start date**: As soon as possible
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere
- Schedule and manage appointments ensuring optimal time management for both patients and dental staff.
- Coordinate patient flow, maintaining an organised and efficient reception area.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details, accurately and confidentially.
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and provide necessary information to patients and other callers.
- Handle patient billing and insurance claims, ensuring accuracy and compliance with dental policies and procedures.
- Assist with administration tasks, such as managing patient records, filing and inventory management.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth workflow and efficient patient care.
**Requirements**:
- **Previous experience working as a Dental Receptionist is a must**:
- **Experience with System for Dentists software is a bonus**:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in handling patient information and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional and empathetic approach when dealing with patients, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity to their needs.
