As an apprentice, you will have the support of your line manager and a dedicated mentor. They will be there to give you the support you need throughout your apprenticeship journey, helping you overcome any obstacles faced and ensure that you complete your apprenticeship.

You will be responsible for providing an efficient and effective administrative support service to the internal departments. As this is an apprentice post you will have the opportunity to work in various areas and departments throughout the organisation to develop skills, knowledge and experience in all aspects of administration. This will be via on-the-job training and formal training sessions to establish knowledge and understanding.

**The role**:
As a Business Admin Apprentice your role will include the following:

- Data input, data extraction, photocopying, scanning, filing and typing duties as directed
- Updating job specific reports as requested including breakdowns, programmes etc.
- Supporting the team to maintain accurate, timely and legible records.
- Weekly locations for the contracts team to be collated and updated.
- To answer/deal with queries, both face to face and via the telephone, take messages and pass them on to the relevant member of staff in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Providing appropriate reception cover as and when required.
- Maintaining filing systems in line with company procedures
- Assisting with the ordering and maintenance of stock supplies (specific to role as appropriate)
- Collating information for reports.
- To be a flexible and supportive member of the team
- To sign a learning contract with the training provider and adhere to this agreement.

**Person Specification**
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Maths & English GCSE

**Salary**: From £5.28 per hour
