Scope of the Role
This is a field based role, but will require flexibility to be in the Swindon Head Office on a weekly basis with travel to the London Head Office when required
Key Responsibilities
- You will partner with key business areas to deliver best in class end to end on-boarding & induction processes, working collaboratively with our People Team and business leaders
- You will be responsible for the design and delivery of training/development programmes, bringing insight and industry knowledge to review and improve the learning and development offer
- You will translate business needs and priorities into deliverable learning outcomes
- You will work with the people partnering team, talent acquisition team and business leaders across the business, supporting the Group Head of People Operations to deliver the 3 year strategy plan
- You will support the business wide review of the current training offer to ensure that it is fit for purpose.
- You will be accountable for the development and delivery of workshops and/ or learning interventions for key areas of the business
- You will design & develop training profiles for all roles identifying both mandatory and non-essential training and development
- You will support the design & development of a suite of management development programmes to ensure that we have great succession to support the business growth plans across Group
- You will create excitement and raise the profile of the Talent Development function across business areas
- You will support the design and delivery of a framework alongside the Group Head of People Operations to develop career routes and succession planning
- You will support the delivery of training workshops/blended and e-learning across business areas
Essential Skills:

- Level 5 CIPD in Learning & Development, or HR with a specialist in Learning & Development
- Achieved related training delivery qualifications and has the experience of delivering learning and development in a variety of styles
- Experience of working in retail companies/tech or digital hiring/international markets
- Excellent stakeholder management with a high touch, collaborative, and communicative approach and the confidence to challenge thinking
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with the rest of the People Team, with a flexible approach to support on any areas which require focus
- Expertise in the creation and execution of Talent & Development programmes in retail or service focused environments
- Excellent oral, written communication and influencing skills, and the ability to present to large audiences
- Highly motivated and self-directed
